I bought this at market because of a news catalyst where the company secured a $4.5M in new financing. I thought this was a good news catalyst but it did not materialize. I held to end of day in case it recovered. I should have cut losses faster and should not have added to this.
Attempted dip buy on this play following the morning spike. No follow-up so I sold into the small bounce. I entered too early and averaged down, which is not a good practice. I need to work on being more patient and entering ONLY WHEN IT IS IDEAL. The entry is where money is made, not the exit.
What can I say, this is my play. Was already in TWO other plays and had to jump in on this sharp dip. Was a touch late and didn't get the bottom but it popped, as per usual, and I sold for a small profit. Again, if I was focused here I may have sized up. Too many plays and I perform better when I focus on one.
I tried scaling 5k shares into strength but didn't get filled to reduce risk. Then it kept going down and I didn't place my sells below the bid far enough so I had to keep canceling until I could slap the bid and exit. My bad for being too slow gave back yesterday's gains so back to -$30 on the month instead of -$6. I even sized up a little more today lol
