While I'm educating myself (Thanks @timothysykes) I started paper trading on actual paper notes. I haven't signed up for a brokers account yet. I was watching two companies yesterday. LCLP I would have broke even because I was afraid to hold it. NVCN I am shorting and still holding. I am expecting it to continue on its downward trend. I am still not sure how long brokers allow you to hold on a short. Notes from yesterday - 6/21 LCLP - long stock - should be a long hold 30day advertising started a month ago.. Hold for 2-3 days if possible. Wait for price to drop to .59 (Current Time: 2pm EDT) Could buy at .60. - maybe sell now.. After investigating. I didnt' check the volume again.. Doesn't seem to have much. NVCN - short stock - bought at .65 a share @ 2:34p EDT (750 shares 20-30 cent movement is 150-200$ risk). Should drop down to .59 no later than close. Its low is about .47.

I realize I am probably not using correct terminology.

NVCN is having trouble breaking .58, I will watch tomorrow to see how things go. Hoping it gets to .55 and I'd be up .10 a share. It doesn't seem worth the time at .10 and hoping it breaks .55 before or by Friday. Stock is moving slow...

I'm not officially trading yet. I started educating myself a week and a half ago. I plan to start trading in 5-6 months. I wasn't going to jump on here till I started trading but I wanted to see how people were playing and analyze the patterns they traded on.

I'm new to the market and wondering if Sure Trader is good starting platform for small accounts?

Don't use this broker under any circumstances - trust me! Lots of hidden fees, almost impossible to withdraw money. I've been waiting almost three weeks for about $5k I want to move to another brokerage account. I've been charged about $180 in withdrawal fees as well that they claim are charged by their bank.
