Entry Comments: Got in on possible breakout with high (relative) volume. Took small position because total dollar volume was small. Exit Comments: Stock went nowhere because it didn't trade enough volume. Just got out at the bid for a small loss. Didn't want to wait any longer. Lesson to Learn: BORING!!!! Don't get in to boring stocks. They waste your time and you likely lose a bit of money because they are going nowhere.
Entry Comments: Got in on signs of pre-market support after news of getting in to industrial hemp game. Stock had big volume and was looking like shorts could get squeezed. Exit Comments: The chart showed the stock could possibly stopin the 1.60's so that was my target. Hit 1.50 and immediately stopped. Tested previous support and broke down. Exited before VWAP was broke for a small gain. Lesson to Learn: Don't be afraid to take some profits along the way.
Entry Comments: Got in on break above .35 looking to finish the gap fill and get out at .39 for a 10-15% profit. Exit Comments: Got stopped at .36 and showed weakness, so exited immediately for a scratch. Lesson to Learn: Don't play a 5th green day breakout. That is not a pattern. This was pure FOMO. Don't do it again.
Entry Comments: Former runner having FGD with a news catalyst. Got in on break of sideways price action looking for a test of day's highs. Only looking for 30-40 cents profit. Exit Comments: Volume didn't come in like I wanted and bag holders started showing up selling in to buying volume. I didn't like the price action so I got out for a scratch. Lesson to Learn: Don't try to force trades on bad long term charts.
Entry Comments: Been stalking this stock for two weeks waiting for the morning dip. I was prepared, I knew exactly where it could occur and it worked like clockwork. Took a small position because I still suck at dip buying. Exit Comments: Got out a too early because my day job got in the way. Lesson to Learn: Not upset about my exit. I made a small amount of money, but gained a lot of confidence in this trade. Keep stalking these runners as they have good dip opportunities.
Entry Comments: Took speculative position on breakout over .28 but missed my entry. Cancelled order and moved on to other stocks. I guess this one didn't get cancelled and it entered me on a dip without my knowing. Exit Comments: Came back to the stock with it up over 10% so I took my gains! Lesson to Learn: You have to be more meticulous with your trading. This could have been a big mistake.
Entry Comments: Got in with small position before the break above .018, then added to my position as it was breaking .018. Stock made a nice break to blue skys. Exit Comments: Ran in to resistance at .020, so I exited my position for a nice gain. Lesson to Learn: This OTC breakout pattern was straight out of Grittani's Trading Tickers DVD. Watch this DVD over and over again.
Entry Comments: Got in on morning break above previous month's highs looking for test/break above pre-market high on volume. Another fat finger trade only purchased $100 instead of $1000. Exit Comments: Price was immediately rejected dropping below breakout level and started looking weak. Put in my sell order just to maintain discipline in cutting losses quickly. Lesson to Learn: Ugly bad-sushi long term chart lead to terrible trade setup. Only trade clean charts.
Entry Comments: Got in FGD on technical breakout looking to move past day's highs. Unfortunately, I made a fat finger mistake and only got 258 shares and not 2500 shares. So when the stock fell back in the channel, I didn't panic or cut losses, I just held it to see how it would react. Exit Comments: Stock broke below the channel and I had to cut it. Big percentage loss, but tiny dollar loss. Lesson to Learn: Stop making fat finger mistakes.
Entry Comments: Got in on FGD holding much of it's gains and curling up to a break above .82. Entered on volume right before the break and added more after it broke. Looked for late day short squeeze in to the .90's Exit comments: Cracked hard on VWAP and continued down. I got out before my stop because I didn't like the price action. Lesson to Learn: If a stock is trending below VWAP, dont go long until it convincingly gets above it. It's a barrier many people watch as a s/r line.
