Happy with my entry 6 minutes after big volume candle and LOD. Sold some for 4% and then tried to be patient. It came back in so I sold rather than let it turn into a loser. It wouldn't have been a loser and eventually would have been a 5% winner but I didn't have 90 minutes to watch this chop around. I like my plan and good entry, it just didn't bounce well.
Stock spiked 1.48 previous day to 2.44 and then held into the afternoon and was within 12% of HOD. I need to recognize the difference between this and AUVI on 1/12/23. AUVI was holding closer to HOD and much lower float. This also hit my stop loss and I had a little hesitation. Got out lower than I wanted.
What a great entry and ruined opportunity. STT Breaking News, spike, and then I bought on the dip before it went to 1.50. Never would have seen red on this trade. I wasn't confident and let distractions take my focus and I sold for a scratch instead of a 50%, 100% or 200%+ win. At least I recognized the entry. I'm selling winners too soon and holding losers too long. Scared to trade and scared to win for some reason.
FGD. This price range has been tough for me to trade. I wasn't comfortable again. Even with LOD risk, I could have reassured myself that was 7% risk, nothing crazy. But in addition to the price range, I felt I chased it. I was using .33 as level of support & it was holding, but looking precarious. All in all, it was moving too quickly for me to assess carefully and have comfort.
