Nailed it! It was risky though, since right after this spike it got halted and faded all day.

Bought into late afternoon of the promotion, now I'm thinking I just got lucky because it faded to under a dollar by the close. Hoping I can nail these without feeling like it was just luck, be more like a sniper! I know it was risky because the dump can start at any second, but it hadn't had its first red day yet, and it was up every day for the week.

This was just a poopie buy altogether. I bought off earnings but the reaction to the earnings wasn't good at all. I was trying to get a trade in that week before I went traveling, the long-term chart wasn't very good (as I learned by doing this trade). Always look longer term when buying a breakout. Tim said later he hardly ever buys MEET anymore, and they have serious bag holders. Felt kinda bad after since I had $90 loss, but I learned a good lesson about what a bad chart looks like.

I had the right idea, this was my first trade ever morning on a Friday and it was right before AVXL went to 1.60. I didn't hold long enough because I was over-eager to cut losses when it broke through support. Better to take small losses as Tim says at first, than try to hold through the mental stop loss. I felt really good about it.
