Do you base a lot of your trading psychology on trading in the zone?? it sounds like you have adopted some of marks techniques

Just listened. You have so many good things going on and the things you need to improve on, you point it out in the video. One thing I heard DUX say is if you have too much emotion, you wont make any $. I recommend taking a longer term view, make solid trades and good things will come.

@fittrader101 Hi Nick, I also opened Suretrader account, and deposited fund after my account got verified, but it's been more than 3 days that they haven't received my fund. It got me worried. I was wondering if you are good to go with Suretrader account? How many business days they took to process your deposit?

Made the same mistake as you Scott! First I bought in the open 500 @2,50 and sold 500 @3,20 which was a super trade. Then I saw an ascending triangle forming and bought again 500 @3,06 and it failed to perk up so I sold and took my loss @2,85... In the end of the day still a 220$ Win excluding commissions but still a learning phase!! :)

@fittrader101 your first trade was sweet mine was a 50 50 set up at best I had minor resistance at 2.86 so buying at 2.80 was a bad entry tried getting out at 2.75 but moved too quick and 2.70 got me out.

@fittrader101 I was using yahoo finance when i did my analysis and it said they were in the negative. So I went back and looked at their filed 10-K with the SEC just now and see that it was an error. Thanks for pointing that out!

No problem! I see that Yahoo Finanace is lagging a bit behind sometime so it's nice to use multiple sources

@fittrader101 I will start to post daily charts to go along with the verified trades, really the same 3 or 4 patterns over and over.

ST have recently changed their wire instructions, i emailed them directly to ask and the ones via email were different to the ones in IBoss. I transferred about 1K into their UK account a few weeks ago and the money arrived fine. One issue you i had is they do not contact you to let you know the money is in there and they dont tell you that it is IBoss you have to check. The money wont show up in your account management login from the website as i expected at first.

their helpdesk have always responded to me within an hour also, so they are really quite good for customer service from what i can tell, even if some of their automated stuff isnt as described

I used to think like you .. I just bought KODK 100 shares @7.05. Then I sold it at 8$ in the afterhours. Then 10 min later it was already up to 9 and I blamed myself for selling too early.. But now I realize that this is the complete wrong way of approach. I have a solid 1$ per share gain which is kinda freaking above average... I'm also like -400 on my acc already but I'm finding my way up there and I'm sure you will too!! Just recognize what works for you and write everything down! Goodluck br

@Kody I contacted IB about this but they can't convert your account to cash if you are 21 year old or above unfortunately....

@fittrader101 I'm 24 and this is what I did. I created a linked cash account, deposited another $3,000, it was approved and funds transferred I believe by the next day. Then I withdrew my money out of the margin account and closed it. They will charge you like a $20 monthly fee if you leave your margin account at $0 so you can keep a couple grand in there if you want to avoid that and still have the option to short. Any questions just lmk!

@fittrader101 For me, I don't take any positions larger than $500 while I'm still working on my strategy and most of all my mindset. That still lets me make 5 day trades a week which is plenty for me. I honestly average about 2 per week since I started trading a couple months ago
