Positions I opened and closed today

Positions I opened today.

I traded pretty actively today, opposed to what I thought I’d do. Banks earnings are boring and usually not much opportunity - I looked elsewhere for action. Found someone BKNG

Positions I opened today. I closed the $SCHW position for a decent profit but could’ve taken more. No reason to hold it when earnings were meh.

Avging that $CMG position down paid off big. -800 turned into $2000 profit.

Opened a $FB position and closed half of the $CMG position. Avging the cost down ended up being the right move. No more positions for today. Last day in chicago at the new store. Need to get it ready for the opening.

The game plan was to hold $SCHW through earnings but honestly if it cracks $1000 profit today I might just close the position. Don’t forget taking profit is never a wrong decision. ALSO !!! A few people have asked me about some of these positions I hold that aren’t options that have losses. $E $ECA $NOG VVV $SUN I al hold for the dividend. UBER and SQ I own because I buy stocks of companies I use regular. I try to get $1000 on IPO day.

I closed the $TSLA position for a nice profit. The $SCHW position is already extremely profitable. It might be worthwhile to close the position and wait for better price action into earnings but if I hold through earnings could be a 4 figure profit or lose all the gains. Hmm

These are the positions I opened today. Heavy losses in $CMG so I dollar cost avg’d down on the one position. Holding this $SCHW position through their earnings.

Closed $GOOG and $TSLA for nice profit. $CMG is still open with a $400 or so loss right now. Probably will ride it. I don’t think I’ll open any new positions except maybe fade $TSLA with Puts
