So my new favorite trade is shorting these biotechs with horrendous long term charts. They spike fast in the p/m then hit massive resistance. I tested this one long instead of getting short...
The most annoying thing is how accurate my targets are. Of course, I am the one whe FOMO'd into the trade too soon. Plus I played too large and didn't allow enough room for risk.
Another day with a ton of green across the board, but I am looking for shorts. The thing is, I am statistically better at short selling even though my biggest gains have been through longs.
I played this ticker well, but in the end I wasted a lot of time on a ticker that hugged VWAP all day. With more weakness I would have considered a swing o/n, but had to cut it all at days end when there was still plenty of strength.
The I.B.S. (Irrational Biotech Spike) is a frequent occurrence. One has to be cautious though as many Biotech spikes are very much warranted, depending on the news and overall chart.
