Followed Tom blindly, need to do my own research

My first trade. I got lucky that there was news about female Viagra that this stock coat tailed on. Stock was as high as 1.31 in after hours trading. Need to take larger positions to overcome commission fees

Made this trade after a Tim Alert, shortly after got another Tim Alert saying he made a mistake and cut his losses. I panicked and did the same. The stock shot up to $17 shortly after i sold. Moral of the story, do your own homework. Also, my account is a little small to be making this kind of trade. Even if I sold at 17 A dollar a share would have neted me $40 after commissions, better than -20 though.

Tried buying what I thought was a spike and when the stock started down turning I paniced. Stock ended up closing the day around .041 which would have been a small profit.
