@traderquebec hey question here, I decided to finally stop spectating and actually start trading. So how much money did you start with and where do you get news on your stocks. Sorry if youve seen this question many times, I just saw that youre pretty active on this site.

@traderquebec Just curious how much did you start to trade with? Also can you give me some advice on how to recover on big losses (I see that you were once down 30k)

When you're on big losses, you want to recover and it's not easy to keep focused, You want to play with bigger size to win more and you lose more. So you have to take your time, be focused, study and play safe, find good trades. Make plans and follow them. Cut the losses quick when you're wrong and take prodit when you can. You have to find the strategy that is woriking for you. I found that i'm better as a day trader than as a swing trader.

I'm from Quebec, i use TD thinkorswim and Questrade, i short using TD, they allow +5$ stock

RBC allow short too +$3 stock, but when you want to short, they don't have shares 90% of the time
