bought the dip of its high of day thinking it was gonne retest highs if it kept setting higher lows. trend changed and cut the lose
Feeling very skidish lately for some reason. I haven't been sticking to my risk and instead I'm taking shameful profits. Perhaps I need to size down a little. In this case I guess it worked out but I still don't like being uncomfortable in a trade
IB is confusing tried to get in at 3.10 with 900 shares but didn't know I had to hit transmit and hit accept instead. I chased only because 700k trading at 12:30 got in at 3.47 but only 100 shares to get use to IB. Got out at 3.97 into strength at 4 bounced down to 3.70 not sure where its at know but should've been up about 900 if I knew the platform
BOUGHT ON THE DIP AFTER IT BREAKOUT. PRICE WAS CONSOLIDATING BUT I DID NOT HOLD AND SOLD OFF FOR SMALL PROFIT.
Bought the breakout 10:56 $3.1841 over HOD 9:27 $3.18 for another test to see if morning breakouts are just fake-outs! I immediately set my Limit Sell for a 10% win at $3.50. The price hit $3.24 at 10:57 then almost pulled back to mental stop loss at $3.03 then surged up to $3.29 at 11:01. When it hit $3.44 at 11:05 I could see it pulling back so I got out 11:06 $3.38. Price hit $3.45 at 11:10 but is $3.25 at 11:14.
Waited all morning for this to breakout. Chart look good but the vol was low. Held at around 2.70 all morning so I guess my 2.81 entry wasn't that bad. Took small gains.
