@Turbobob Hi. Congrats on your success. I noticed you trade higher priced stocks. I am finding that the higher priced stocks more often follow half and whole dollar marks. Do you find that to be true? Would you mind sharing your scanner parameters? Thanks - CJ

Today was a perfect example of waiting for the perfect setup. HTGM was a relatively low float former spiker that had already spiked into resistance the night before on no news and was now making lower highs. It also had gone from 3 to 4.4 so had a long way to come down. I found it the night before, was ready for it and it had many shares to short. The next morning it was gapping down from the high. This would be a perfect opportunity to try going big. But even if not, it was still a PERFECT setup. One of those 10/10 they talk about. I had a plan to short if it panicked or if it spiked. My problem was that I did not identify this as a perfect setup. I entered my short position but I still had my eye on other plays when I should have just been watching this one play. Part of the reason was that I was not confident about my assessment. But even then, when it was doing what I thought, I should have still had my eye 100% on this play and no others. I could have avoided my fat finger mistake that closed me out too early or even got back in. But I was busy entering another play and HTGM had fallen even more making my risk reward worse. Furthermore I entered CAMT short which it wasn't a good short as I wrote in my trade note. Lesson to learn: identify great setups then focus only on that until the play is over.

Recently break even. - Watched more DVDs: - New Rules of Pennystocking - Started Read SEC Filings - Continued reading charts, making watchlists and trade plans - Continued to review and analyze how trade plans worked out - Continued logging my trades and saving charts - Continued making spreadsheets and stats - Continued watching new video lessons - Continued joining webinars and watching archived ones - Continued analyzing other traders Profit.ly trades As you can see, there is a lot of time and work that I have and still continue to put into this... I estimate easily a thousand hours or more this year. And I have loved every minute of it! Even though I have a long way to go... looking back, I have also come a long way.
