You couldn't be more right. Thanks for sharing. I've been there. Isnt it the most wonderful feeling when you know you can control the FORCE and your finally becoming a Jedi?

Ok so, now you have to sustain that discipline. When you find yourself saying "I knew better" it's probably because you did!

I love how you think dude. Wish I would have played the short side of the whole economy because of this coronavirus and the fact that it affected the whole economy so negatively. I don't have a margin account now so I tried to play the bullish side of some of these Corona stocks. They still got shorted out. Shorted and sold, shorted and sold. Buying stocks feels like putting dollar bills into a paper shredder anymore. Good job DSavage

@JBMcMiniMeMcMunstercheese i appreciate it bro....yea going long for me just never worked.. i always seemed to get in at the wrong time, either right at the top or during boring sideways price action that eventually dropped. Lol then when i started shorting, I was risking way too big of positions. I feel like its starting to come full circle now. And believe me I know the feeling of not having a margin account for a while, i just took the time to save my money and study my ass off until i could

Shorting comes to me easy also! You just have to go with your trading strengths are and mines is shorting pops in the market and pumps

My thesis is usually right on point with these practice trades but my decision making on either going LONG or SHORT has been off. Once I get it down I know my profit chart will change dramatically. I also need to stop holding and hoping when the trade goes against me, no more revenge trades, forcing trades before work, take my profits along the way letting the chart let me know when i should get out. Weird how im more quickly to cut profits faster then i am with losses. Definitely a stupid mental block i need to work on

These past few months have been up and down with trading. Trying to find my niche with shorting stocks with a real broker that charges commission fees has not been fun. But it has taught me a valuable lesson on how to pick and choose my battles. I haven’t lost a lot of money, but I’ve lost enough (~$400) since I started using TDameritrade. It’s still a great platform to use even though I can’t wait until I can afford STT, but again after losing that much money due to my own personal mistakes. I realized I needed to sit back, study more, pay attention, take notes, and learn. I haven’t traded much since about midway through march this year with TD, I did open an account with Suretrader, but of course, I also have always had ROBINHOOD. Now I know most people don’t like RH because of all the limitations it has, BUT!!!!!! While studying and taking notes, I can honestly say, that Tim Syke's strategy works with Options trading on RH. Not to a 'T' but it has boosted my confidence after I tweaked a few rules (which I don’t recommend, but it has work for me so far). I am up 380% on RH since the beginning of this year, using Tim's strategy with options trading. The only thing that sucks Is I can’t verify my trades on here, for some reason it won’t allow me to but once I get that under control, I would be glad to show how I’ve done it. So, for now I can only post a screenshot from my phone as evidence. I do plan to get back in to trading very soon once I am done with watching all the “shorting stocks” compile videos and I just finished the DVD on short selling also. I know we are in a very very STRONG Bull market; but I’ve seen plenty of short selling opportunities while I’ve sat on the side lines these past few weeks. Just know I’m coming back with a vengeance, with more knowledge and education once I start trading again. But for now, I’m excited to share this small piece of achievement with my trading so far this year.
