@Turbobob How do you feel about $APHB's move yesterday? I didn't trade it because it gapped up pre-market without a catalyst, hardly has it had any volume in the past, had wide spreads, and overhead resistance in the 3s, 3.30s, the 4s, and the 4.50s.

What about the long trade though? Would you have went long when it started moving?

@Jason_Raposo Hey buddy sorry for the late reply but I have been grinding out this current choppy penny stock market and developing new strategies to adapt to this slower market :) I am confident that I should be turning a profit here shortly!

@livinglarge88 keep them in mind but remember you have shorts covering and buyer buying so those levels can get blown through quick, i focus on while and half dillar amounts then

es I have an account with TD ameritrade but I signed up through TOSs website. I had to open an account there, and once I did I downloaded the TOS Desktop Platform and from there I was allowed to use their software for free. But this was last year. They might have changed their policy to where you have to invest now

Yeah maybe that is what happened because I can't gain access to the on demand feature on TOS :( Thanks for the feedback though!

@LivingLarge88 Look at the wick size though or the range and you know roughly how far the stock can go or start to fail

Sorry I mean wick length

You're right IMGN has no news but it's a multi-week breakout above 2.70 so that's news in itself.

@Chongette32 I'll keep that in mind next time I encounter this type of stock. Thanks for the input!

I almost took about a $180 loss after 10 a.m the price and volume faded and i sat there watching my money go bye bye. i know stocks tend to fade midday so i set a mental stop and waited till after lunch. fortunatly it paid off and i sold to soon. i know it can get hectic when your in the red but try to keep emotion out as much as possible especially when your making money. keep at it though small losses can be great lessons.

I can't believe you lost on EYEG. It was the perfect setup! There was the dip buy in the morning, followed by the ~1/2 pullback in the reversal period which happens ALL THE TIME. then once it broke the the daily high around 12:45 PM should have been an indicator to go for it. I mean, they had a + deal with Valeant!!

I mainly trade momentum so my strategy is a bit different. I often don't look to dip buy, I look for bull flags along with other momentum patterns.
