Wednesday’s Watchlist for 8.6.025
TMC 203 m.f., TMC the metals co. inc. is a Vancouver based battery metals mining company. The CEO pumped the stock after it had a week+ of red days. This had a modest effect, but quickly gave up it’s gains. I had a nice little long on it, then went short. I didn’t stick to my plan and covered for far less profits than became available. This is poised for a bounce off support above 5. I am watching for a potential short into resistance around 7, but this play is likely over. 9.8 Million Shares Available.
AIP 30 m.f., Arteris Inc. is a Cali Based Semiconductor Developer. They seem to follow the market in general and recently had good news about a deal with AMD. They couldn’t hold the p/m spike toward 16 and now have negative earnings. I would consider a short today if it can push toward yesterdays close as it’s down 15% in today’s p/m. 194K Shares Available.
XELB 68k m.f., Xcel Brands Inc is a NY Based “apparel” ticker that had recent share acquisitions by a couple of big wigs. They bought shares at 1.10 and 1.38 to the tune of about 300k shares. This spiked yesterday afternoon to 1.80 and this morning to 1.75. I am watching for volume and continuation. The long term chart is terrible for a sustained long, but I see some 1 dollar wicks that could mean a large spike is possible. 0 Shares Available.
LPSN 92 m.f., LivePerson Inc is a NY based Software ticker. They announced a partnership using Google Cloud and has very strong volume in p/m. If this 1.50 break holds, we could easily see 2.00/share. 0 Shares Available
IPDN 1.1 m.f., Professional Diversity Network Inc is a Chicago based Human Resources ticker. They announced a new CEO, but have a terrible long term chart. I would be very cautious longing this microcap. 0 Shares Available
AMZN, AAPL, SPY, QQQ, DIA, MDY, IWM, The markets have a mix of g/r with a couple big earnings winners.
My biggest goal right now is to Let My Winners Run. This has been my biggest hurdle and is very much what is stopping me from being a significantly successful trader. B/O’s over new P/M highs are one of the hottest plays right now, but there are many failed spikers to be weary of.
I have been bad about having a watchlist and plans before my recent trades. I intend to change that as building these watchlists/recaps is very much part of the process/discipline necessary to constantly evolve and succeed in the speculation world. We are in an amazing environment right now and there has never been more opportunity to score runs as well as hit Homers! Alexander Elder said it best with this quote. “If you let the market make you feel high or low, you will lose money” With that in mind I will do my best to follow my plans and not let Elation, Fear, or Greed influence my decisions.

AIMD is a saucy low float as well. Super wicky, but definite potential.
