@Stefan_G I didn't take a mental health day I needed and didn't do a single thing right, and yes now I have to climb back up slowly again, I have a sick feeling in my stomach, but the way the market has been, it's not a bad idea to sit out for now. Thank you for the encouragement!!

"I think I punched myself at least once." Sitting here @ work 12:00 a.m. laughing my ass off. Sounds like what I did recently with the mirror motivation except I didn't punch myself. Sounds like you have enteritis and exititis. Because we lose so much, we're afraid to enter, but when we do enter, we take small gains and don't hold because we don't want to lose. My advice would be to go back to paper trading until you regain your confindence
@darrellwayne13 Entryitis I had, yes. But this was certainly the cure. I had no qualms or squeamishness for the rest of the week. Exititis, not at all. I took a huge loss in February last year and since have never been afraid to get out. I paper traded until I was green three months in a row. It took about seven months. I'm confident in my theses, but was overly risk averse when it came to cash money. I'm getting over it. Soon I'll be green on my profit chart. :D
@darrellwayne13 Taking base hits for sure. Just check my chart lol. Been red for over a year now and still at it. Not giving up.

Yikes. What happened if you don't mind me asking? Did you try to play BABA earnings or did TSLA get you, or something else?
The thing about it is, I need to stop using options. Bought a $TSLA.put and had absolutely no hedge whatsoever. I should've bought a call as well to hedge but I didn't. Obviously I could've cut my loss, but I just sat and watched my p/l vanish all day.
Same here. I got caught up in the Tesla fiasco myself lol. I'm going back to penny stocks. Tired of the years worth of blowups due to options. I'll still trade options when the setup presents itself but I'm not gonna force plays anymore.

I have been holding myself accountable by setting a goal of saving $1,000 and not depositing small amounts into my account. You can see my last deposit was in Nov. Bills, food and the important things of life come first. I am proud of myself for saving up and not giving into FOMO since Nov. I always see stocks popping off, but I have maintained discipline and self control. I should be at $1,000 saved up by Feb. 11. So I'll keep posting my progress. My vacation starts then and I'll have $1,000.
