Hi, if you can I suggest to start with $10.000 on Interactive Broker. If you can invest more, from $30.000 then contact TIM or your reference and you will get the possibility to use the Secret Broker. If you can start with $2.000 then use suretrader (or speedtrader). Anyway, in the chat you find people that you can contact to ask details, their user profiles are RED colored

Yes, you can trade with suretrader, only US citizens can't trade. Moreover, if you want, try out optionsxpress too. They're good. With $500, you can start but don't copy every trade. You have copy good traders like @jollar and wait for $2 or under this value stocks. At least you should start with 3000 to cover broker costs and every thing.

Great info! do you know about tax laws for any winnings? I am actually a from the UK just living overseas for less than a year. Also do they still have the max 3 trades for accounts under 25k? Help is greatly appreciated.

Hi ricardo, I started with $500 3 years ago but then bumped it up to $2500 shortly after. I really started to progress much better once I put in $8,000 of my own money then I doubled that fairly quick. Small accounts tend to get beat by commissions more than the actual trades

I was in the military so I'm in USAA right now, I don't think you can short stocks with it. I haven't tried. I'm thinking of moving to TD Ameritrade. As for $ amount. I tried starting with $1.5K, but then I ended up adding cash until I got to $4.3K. i
