- 08:26 AMHirtzNerdit really doesn't matter how much your trades are worth dollar wise. In the long term you want to see them increase but If you stay safe and keep good r/r it comes naturally. My biggest win this year is 400 my biggest loss was 100 on a fat finger. My average win last week was 56.47 and average loss was 7.89. If you keep it tight you'll make money. Like jack says if you stay 3 to 1 you'll generally be profitable.

- 08:55 AMNerdshaunbellahI am right there with you. I lost 24K in a NVDA death cross in about 30 seconds. It sucked. Only use margin to go around the settlement time, to use options and to have the ability to short. BD will charge you 8-12% to borrow. They rake you over the coals.

Just my humble opinion: fact that it could bounce of that $0.3 level - which lined up with long term support on the daily chart and also with that third green candle (daily) on the front side of the move. A FGD does not always close green on the day. Nor does a FRD always close red on the day. And sometimes the #5 bounce occurs within one of those days.
- 04:41 PMAnita67emschwarmNot an expert but I would think that holding the 0.3 level (support on daily chart and on the front side of the move) was instrumental as well as that level holding on high volume on the intraday today. Because the stock had come down so far on the backside but 0.30 held, it had a change to bounce with volume (#5). The stock did still close red on the day (did close below yesterday's closing price), but this was a #5 bounce off 0.3 support. The more I study the FGD, #5 bounce, the more I realize
