Haha read my blog post about NVCN. I should have had a $200 gain as well but thanks my stupidity on a stop on quote order I lost the opportunity
@SHOdMONI I did the same, got in at 1.21 and got out at 1.17 when that nasty short hit it.
@DapperDude Yea this stuff is so predictable. learning the patterns and trends is the easy part. The difficult part is mastering your entries and exits.

Going back I saw just how well this played out. I've rewritten my "playbook" to give my risk a little more room to prevent getting shook out like this. Still looking for same R/R of 5+

wl is 20-30, daily about 4/5
I mean, on your screen you had 2 stocks, is that your usual setup or do you look more then that at a time?
typically not
Hey Arick. Another great video, thank you! I really found this useful. As you said - it's "easy" to look at a chart at the end of the day and say "it was OBVIOUSLY going to do THIS HERE and that's why I chose to do THAT". Seeing what you were seeing LIVE and hearing your thoughts and strategy was priceless. Just don't do it while driving! ;-)

Unfortunately, this is a lesson I think most of us have to learn on your own. The next step is not following anyone's hype either. Develop your own plan and stick to it, don't be swayed by others.
Yes! You are absolutely correct! I guess it will take me a while before I stop paying attention to trade alerts and hype. Thanks for the wise words though!
I'm trying to only read the tickers that people are talking about and then I look at the stock on my own as if I had just found it.
Good! I have been trying the same thing, but I still look at what is happening in the chatroom occasionally, and this definitely affects my decision making as well as my emotional state. I guess this is what you were talking about - hype.... Have to learn to ignore it!

Not profitable just yet but on the right path here. Spikes are more likely with lower floats, under 10M is best. A stock needs a catalyst to move, but price action is king. If you look at the PM action, it peaked at 1.40 and then came down. It looks like it had a lot of volume PM ( I wasn't around), and when stocks trade that much PM it seems that the chart is still good. That being said, it looks like the move was over before the open and the only bullish play would be to wait for support to ho
for support to hold and the trend to reverse
@DapperDude That's exactly what I was thinking at the time: "This is a ton of PM volume, and the chances of it spiking at open are very good. PLUS there is a great catalyst. heck- its also a former runner. I dont know what went wrong with it. No bad news came out later as far as I know of.
@KShim Let me rephrase. I meant the chart being good as in you can rely on the chart as if the market were open. The premarket chart already showed the move being over. In this case I would have little hope for a mornings spike, maybe more like a morning bounce.
