Watch List for 3.8.017

PRKRThis ticker went nuts yesterday afternoon and a/h when the news of a court ruling in their favor came out.  I basically scalped 30 cents off of it, when there was a potential 2 dollar gain!  It is tough to spot the best plays, but this was one of them.  I may look to dip buy on a morning sell off if it can continue with this momentum.

 

DRYSThis shipping company has had round after round of toxic financing.  I have a short position @ Etrade @ 1.50  I covered my Short @ IB for a $75 gain.  This should have a hard time bouncing with the latest round of dilution, but there is beginning to be a lot of hype around the coming bounce.  I will monitor my Etrade postion with a plan to cover if this get legs. 

 

LXUI started into a long position this week.  I got in a little early, but if I keep my size small I have low risk.  The goal is to get proficient at these swing/position trades as they fit my personality well.  Ideally I would have one long/short swing, and one volatile play.

 

I am beginning to trade with a lot more discipline.   Waiting of the best plays, then letting them play out to their fullest is the true path to success.   I am comfortable with DRYS and LXU because of my confidence in their current pattern.  I should not be too distracted, but if there is volatility in either play I will avoid taking new positions. PRKR is going to be interesting to watch, but I feel I missed the best opportunity. (Well, made $300 missing the best opp.)   Good Luck Profit.ly!
