Just started this week with a new guru. Gonna see what I can learn with him. The style is very different. But, I think it could be very good. So, hang tight, we are gonna be on a bumpy ride for a little bit. THIS IS WHY I AM B.A.N.N.E.D from posting new content past what is here on my page. They took down my blog post about my new mentor also.

That’s awesome to know others are finding success with him. I’d totally take 110k in a year! Haha! Yeah, my kiddos are quite a handful! But school has started so it’s a bit quieter here. I’m grateful. I wanna got this hard and learn all I can. I really enjoy trading so it’s a motivator all on its own. Thanks. :)

I’m in Utah so I have to get up at 6 am to exercise, then get to the market at 7. I can’t ysually get to the last two hours...I’ve had a lot less success in those hours anyway. Thanks again! Good luck in all you’re up to!

110k me too lol 😎 Sounds like your doing good with watching the Market at the primary time. They say the Most successful traders are from the Western side. I'm on the complete opposite side Atlanta Georgia . Maybe I should move to Colorado or something lol.

Thanks, not a problem 👍

I think the one thing you are missing here is these are all very different patterns. You should take a step back and look at the setups and focus on one or two setups. What are the patterns you play and have you developed a trade plan for those setups? I recently went on a big trading spree of random patterns and took very random trades and didn't not get great results. Since I refocused, I only focus on specific patterns and only trade them when they match my trade plan perfectly.

@JKelly has a good point as well. I have found it easier to focus on 2 patterns (premarket breakouts and overnight holds) for better returns. Dux mentions that these are his most successful patterns. I find buying something ending near the HOD in the last power hour to be a good overnight hold as long as there is no overhead resistance.

It is very frustrating to miss a good setup by just a penny or two, I would rather missing by a mile or not be right at all. But I take pride in the fact that my setup was correct and I was at least in the playing field.

@waddell I actually am still in the process of determining a pattern or two that work best for me. So, I'm still trying out patterns and collecting data on my abilities. Believe me, that's something I want to do.

DCIX can move fast it scares me.

@Fox_Trader It is pretty quick. But, the volatile stocks are the best to play, so I hope to hone that skill for sure.

@kobayashimaru I looked her up. Thanks!

@combatbob Studying is always a great place to go back to. Being in the market cannot be replaced by study. What you learn there is priceless and necessary. But, when you return to study after being there you'll learn something new even from the thing you already studied! It's wonderful.

@combatbob I am rewatching Trading Tickers after having watched it twice before and I am understanding SO much more. It's so great!

@asfricksrs I'm glad to hear you are progressing as well. :) I'm glad you could appreciate my little rant. Will do!

@Noble1222 Thank you, kindly. I appreciate the perspective. If I may, what specific lessons have you learned in all the mistakes? Seems there could be some nuggets of wisdom there.

THanks!

For the older generation, it is pretty hard to understand how we can make money with trading. I have read at https://edubirdie.com/examples/gender-equality/ that the world of finances was full of discrimination earlier, but it is fine now. I want my mother to start learning how to trade but she is sure that it is only for man, so I really want to change her perception.
