Broke several rules on this trade. Chased, averaged down when I knew I should not, did not cut losses quickly, held over weekend. Loss could've been worse. I have learned a great deal from this loss though. Quite a few lessons actually so I am not too bummed about it. Education costs money(especially when you do not follow the RULES!) and I will move on from this trade with more lessons/rules stored in the knowledge bank.
Messed up yesterday and bought near the high (FOMO).... Decided to hold overnight due to news catalyst and volume. Very weary of this trade because it was halted 4 times yesterday. Sold this morning into the spike. Managed to get a 17% gain. Very small account so position size was small. Learning different strategies right now with small account until I am comfortable trading with a bigger size account.
Starting with a very small account after blowing up several accounts since 2006. Just trying to get the setups and plans right. Not worried about money right now. Happy with this small trade as I stuck with my plan and was up 25% for the trade. I could paper trade but wanted some skin in the game which I feel is more realistic mentally. This was a Dip buy. Gap down on bad news but rebounded quickly. Over reaction to the news.
