So I've been slacking on verifying trades on here for a few months, kinda fell into a slump. I just bulk verified 2 months worth of trades so I didn't put the thought process behind them. I'm back and will add comments again from now on so I can come back and review.

Also, notice there are a lot of trades being made. Most of it due to over trading, some of it with very small size to test myself and not take the bigger losses. But yeah, mostly just over trading haha

After looking at my last 20 trades I noticed something interesting. My loss percentages are much smaller than my gain percentages, which is great. HOWEVER, looking at dollar amounts my losses are similar to my gains. This tells me most of my losses have been trades where I am not sized in properly for my risk/reward dollar amount. Focus in the near term is to get position size under control.

These issues with verifying trades is starting to become annoying. What's the problem with E*Trade while everything else seems to be working just fine?

Finally was able to upload the last 2 weeks of overtrading in my E*Trade account. Just taking the lessons as they come and knowing it's a marathon not a sprint, it's been a rough past 2 months but I feel good going into the new year ready to attack this with a different approach. 1% better every day.... even tho my profit chart looks like a killer short LOL

Well I've uploaded all my recent losses (along with a few decent longs) and as much as it hurts I just have to trust that this is all part of my process. I can either choose to learn from my mistakes or keep up the insanity until I blow up. Going back to the basics for a period of time because I know I can do this!

Having a hell of a time lately, just trying to keep my nose to the grindstone and remember it's a marathon, not a sprint.

Did a sheet for a swing short on $JWN with all the COVID cases on the rise and no stimulus in sight we'll see if it goes down on Monday, I think it will. Problem being every damn stock on E*Trade is hard-to-borrow making me really question if I want to continue using them as a broker or not!

This is the first year I have seen sees and Yes many stocks are hard to borrow --- even before the $MS takeover -- Margin Requirements went up immediately AFTER the takeover
