Your TOS watchlist can be customized to show shares and volume, but not float.
You just need to scan through the top % gainers and keep track of the hot stocks with good patterns. If u have TOS u can have 6 charts+ open. I recommend having two screens. Can buy a cheap one on ebay for like 50 bucks. The BEST 50 dollars you will invest, trust me. That way TOS with 6 charts of the hottest plays, and on ur other screen u can scan through Finviz top gainers under "charts".
sadly, I don't have TOS on my work computer, or maybe thats a good thing :)
Good trade man. Congrats!
Hi Bob, what are the parameters of your daily watchlist scan? and do you still use Finviz or its just STT, thanks for the videos..
I look the largest % gainers using Interactive Brokers in house screen, same with Sure Trader. I also use finviz. With STT, first thing in the morning I have volume set for 10,000 on stocks priced between $1 and $20 and an 8% move. When the market opens I change the volume parameter to 500,000 and then 1,000,000.
keep watching all the videos and you will start to get it, then the fear will subside. Take it slow but stud till you see the best setups and only trade the best setup. Volume is key like CATB it had nowhere to go but up with that parabolic volume.
@petwyt1218 I'll make a note so I don't do the same :)
@FirstRedDay I'm very dedicated :) and You're right! I need to "Aim Small, Miss Small" Thanks :)
@viticoinf87 Haha true FOMO is a baaad thing and even if I am wrong when I'm in a trade I shouldn't get angry because, "To be angry at the market because it unexpectedly or even illogically goes against you is like getting mad at your lungs because you have pnuemonia." - Larry Livingson. Thank you! :)
Great vid Bob -- are you looking at level 2/charts/time & sales on STT when you make your trade or the other trading platform? Thank you
I use STT to find the trades for me, but then I switch to my trading platform (DAS Pro) to execute the trade and then watch the level 2. If it is a longer term trade (more than 37 seconds) then I go back to STT to watch the chart with EMAs and level 2.
Great video - Can you give any advice on locating good stocks to trade to someone that right now can't afford a high monthly subscription to a service such as STT?
Finviz.com is very good. Even Yahoo finance. I also use the scanners that come with my trading platform at Sure Trader and Interactive Brokers
Is the mobile app better for executions?
Watched that clip very impressed with the flow and while mobile. Lucky you did not lose internet connection.
Beautiful trade Arick!
Quick in and out, get your money and go look for another play
I'm in for $6500 for his entire program....I'm hoping it will be in there!
Your good then trading challenge has alot 😎
HTMM is for charity and separate from challenge .. It is well worth it goes to great cause
How long have you been in the challenge?
I have the same CPU,Ram and HD as you and I constantly have bugs using STT, cancelling it and going back to old faith full TOS.
Isnt the charts in different time frames? Looks like STT is 2 minutes and IB 1 minute. I use both (TWS and STT) and candles always look the same when using the same time frame.
I'm using STT, just paper trading. It's a complete platform with everything you need contained within it. From that standpoint it's great but it has a tendency to crash every now and then. I know it's just getting up and running but I believe that the bugs will eventually get worked out in the future. The problems to me are not big enough to want to cancel. I'll be taking my computer to a friend to do some updating so we'll see how it helps to perform better.
Hope it works out for you, it's definitely an awesome platform. I may return once they get the broker integration.
From looking at the 1 year chart you should get a good morning panic. Plus it's the first red day with volume decreasing.
Like we said, you banked! Congrats on your profitable mistake!
Good job, always study the past!
Thanks guys - I just got to the part in the Pennystocking Part Deux where Tim is talking about 1st red days. So nice to actually live the trade idea while learning about it.
Buy How to Make Millions dvd. And watch all of Tims video lessons on youtube. If you bought pennystocking silver you can watch them all on this site.
Invest your time in studying and start with the basics.
Thanks man, getting ready to start on the videos today
