Time to go on a hiatus. I have to focus my attentions on PumpkinHunt Dot com and the world of Halloween. My wife's video game needs to generate some income on it so she have a bigger account for me to trade with! Next lesson. Don't event follow the advice of a service for Weekend Alerts! Need to apply the Sykes Sliding Scale and use my own intuition from now on! Also, SHOULD HAVE PULLED THE TRIGGER ON AWX! It was a perfect set up and I just had a full on Deer in Headlights moment where I did not execute. Oh well, looking forward to the next set up!

Failed on my first shot. Long on IFMK overnight - AUGH! I didn't look at the long term charts and carelessly thought I was holding a squeeze play. Not enough volume and news was priced in. :( Even Tim said I needed to be taught a lesson. Yes, I will learn from this...

First real session of watching trading with my full helm this morning. Found the correct setup matter a lot. Had my eye on $IHT and played with paper trading it. Way off on timing. More practice on the firing lane is needed before I head into battle. Also, found a good Android app that show NASDAQ and NYSE real time level 2 quotes. Gotta find a better OTC quote app, though.

Sigh. Reality setting in. Need to work on my Halloween game and fix the problems it has to get it to market on time. So, day trading lessons will need to be reduced to the evening hours as I need fresh brain for my coding. Trying to make sure it works offline. Anyways, minor set back. I will be looking at my plays and watchlists in the evening now and look at it from 9am onwards for now.

Notes on Friday - July 27 action. I asked the question, what wins on this scenario... 4th green day of a stock (over extension) or the Friday price action morning spike. $AWX was the one to watch. Up with no news and 4th green day going into a failed $FB 2nd day and $TWTR bad earnings morning. Open at 6.13 dropped early on a brief panic, slight bounce before drop to 5.90 then up, then broke 5.69 support briefly at 9:50. Bottom at 5.60 before taking off for the moon. NHOD in the mid 6 then 7s and tests of 8. I don't have all action captured here, but clearly in this case, Friday morning wins out. Any other day and this would have cracked earlier, I am thinking. Good lesson to look back on.

Cut losses quickly. Including losses of time.

Been watching Penny Stocking Framework Part Duex (DUH) and the Trader checklist on YouTube for the past 2 weeks. Taking lots of notes and drilling it into my head. Just bought Trading Tickers tonight (still on sale!!) The day job put a "gun to my head" this week and basically I may have to change jobs soon. But, would rather pursue trading and my own game software pursuits. Study, study, study!

Looking to either join or start a trading team or study group with some good, high frequency trading students... preferably at my newbie level or a little more experienced. So we can learn, grow, and profit together. I don't want picks, but rather want help on the WHY and feedback on patterns I've noticed.
