Watch List for 7.19.017

DCTH This Medical Equipment provider has had a strong run up from .05 to .35 in the past month. There is talk of an impending reverse split and toxic financing, but this has some momentum. I would love to short this, as I do not see it getting through .20, but there are way too many variables preventing a short from being a good idea. It is gapping up p/m, but without some sort of p/r I don’t see this having much steam.
AVEO I have a position that I have rushed into. Now my risk level is right at a key support level which will likely hold. I should have given this more time as it is the type of ticker that makes it’s moves over a very drawn out chart. We should get a bounce soon, but it could easily drop another 10%+ before then.
CAPR This Biotech is up on drug designation news. I thought it was looking like a short yesterday as it was trading right in a huge gap down area. Looks like lots of bag holders, but with big $$$ and volume this can go either way. I would be rather shocked if it can break yesterday’s highs, and would not be surprised to see it start approaching the 1.00 mark today.
DRYS This doomed ticker is down over 30% from yesterday after announcing another reverse split. I have played it many times, but I never seem to stick to the plan of just holding short. The float should be reduced to the 5-6 million area after the split, but there is more room for dilution after that. One day the music should start back up and this should rocket as shorts cover….One day.
ENVV This pump looking chart caught my attention as there are not too many of them these days. I will watch to see how it develops, and if any shares pop up. I actually took a long position in spite of it not being a very “challenge worthy” play. I will look for the typical stair step climb, or cut losses if the trend reverses.
AEZS This Biotech has spiked in the a/h and p/m but looks way overextended. It has a huge gap overhead, and the news is not that great. I would consider a short position if there are any shares. I would look for a spike at open, then risk off of high of day.
I have 2 Day trades available from IB, and I am a PDT @ Etrade for about another month. I have been feeling much more patient, but I am still making impulsive trades. It is always better to wait. Wait for the good set ups, then Wait for the trade to come to you.
