Watch List for 3.22.017
By Madbash
PULMThis ticker is the most volatile stock out there right now. Unfortunately it is a choppy biotech, so all of the risks inherent with such a stock are present. Building a position on a dip between 3.50-3.60 may be ideal. This thing can move 25cents a minute with ease, so extreme caution should be used.
PTIE This ticker had some nice volatility yesterday. After a gap up in the morning, and a failed b/o of the p/m highs this finished approximately 30% off it’s highs. This has some serious long wicks meaning that the bears easily wrestle back control. Definitely do not chase as this moves too fast. This could present a good dip buy into morning panic, but if .90 doesn’t hold I would be concerned for the ability to go further.
VRAY This stock has been strong the past few days. There should be lot’s of support @ 6.90-7.00 and @ 6.60 I will look to dip buy close to the 6.90z, but if it goes lower than that, I would be worried for continuation. This is probably never a short because there is no overhead resistance to consider.
DRYSI will consider some small shorting into spikes. I would prefer to wait for a push to 1.65, but shorting a secondary bounce with a hod risk works well with this behemoth.
LXU I watch this stock for long term position/swing plays. I was considering starting a new position, but I canceled my orders for Monday to buy @ 8.60 Thankfully my concerns of further downside were warranted. This broke through a key support level of 8.75 This may very well test support down in the low 7s in the coming days. This is heavily shorted by big players, so it often goes lower than you expect.
As usual I will plan my trades, trade my plans, and have patience. I will be watchful for any big percent gainers this morning, with the intention of shorting anything that is obviously overextended. $CLBS cough cough. It is good to be all cash, and I am fully prepared for whatever the day may bring.
