So my goal is try to keep taking bigger positions when I'm like 95% sure or if I know the risk is incredibly small so that I get comfortable with it.

I saw the move coming and instead of sitting with 20k with my intial position i bought another 10k before it move when I saw the level 2 changed. For me that was a big accomplishment. One of my biggest listed positions on a daytrade. It paid off too, so great confidence booster even if i sold the extra 10k early it let me be patient with the rest.

- 06:09 PMJayray_68Hirtzi think gradually sizing up is the best approach helps sustain your account and accelerate growth. you know whats best for you. i set laws in place for my trading.... this is why im on downsize mode... if i break my laws i call my broker and shut down my account for 2 weeks havent had to do that in awhile. maybe one of your laws can involve sizing up your dollar loss after a months review.

- 06:16 PMHirtzt3knikdont be afraid when you do trade to take tiny positions. You don't have to jump into the fire and take 10k dollar postitions. Start with 100 dollar trades if you want. The thrill, the heartbreak all will happen when you first start. If you can limit those first scars it will help you long term imo. The scars are good because you learn to never do that again but can also cause PTSD lol
- 06:16 PMJayray_68t3knikno problem, i would suggest starting off learning daily charts with daily pattern recognition. i love tim sykes but if i trade like him i get wrecked so you have to define what works for you dont try to be another trader just observe other traders. lots of them will come and go. hot shots are short lived and most everyone in this industry is full of shit so take everything with a grain of salt.

So, I'm really trying to be diligent on following the process and trading things that i think have the best odds. Mainly looking for FGDs and breakouts. What I think has really helped is my knowledge of reading the daily chart in relation to the 7 step framework. Still needs work on my end, but i feel i'm on the right track.
