Being Disciplined Pays Off!! Be willing to Cut and Attack latter! Thanks Roland!
Idea was to see a morning spike. Got that and Plan was to short into a lower high. At 4.18 looked like a stuff on level 2. Entry 8,000 shares 4.15. Risk HOD 4.20. Immediate fading very stress free. Started locking in gains on the big red candles on the way down to take away some of the emotions. It was easy to sit through the bounce after realizing some gains. Thought about adding into the bounce but decided to just be patient with the shares that he had. Covered some more into g/r 3.50 level. E
xit the rest in the 3.20s avg 3.41 covers $5900 gain. Started looking for a bounce in the 3s. Got down to 3.13 Entered long 5,000 shares 3.22. Exit 3.32 almost $500. Indicators for shorting frontside: no catalyst, a lot of chat room pumping, 3rd green day, running last week and a half, gap up and spike.
Thanks Roland!
@AmberNinja Hi Amber. I realized I read your message wrong, I dont short under $1, I actually havent shorted just yet myself. I thought you meant sell executions so my apologies. I wish today we would be able to short $DCTH it wouldve been nice. Watching videos on shorting now
@AmberNinja are you going to the conference?
I meant to say -- My friend Rehanna and I are both stumped!
I sent you a message on profit.ly
I didn't make it to the conference due to hurricane harvey.....was totally bummed. STT has lots of videos and I talked to Tim Bohen yesterday about creating a User Group
That's fantastic (about User group), bummer about the hurricane. The conference was great!! Such a good opportunity to meet other traders. I know Amber is in STT pro, are you in it too Tracy?
@AmberNinja My first Karma! Thanks Amber
@AmberNinja Hi, from the Challenge chat, love to hear the story you mentioned.
@AmberNinja hey, sorry to bother you, i see you are very active in the chatroom, will you help through profit ly, how do i find Tim Gritanni webinars?
hey, thank you for your quick response, i meant the old ones, he send me to study lol, im here all alone, ill like to have direct contact with you if you dont mind, my email is salvatoreram@icloud.com
thank you, i have the links where is the old ones, thank you very much for all your help
@salvatoreram FWIW, you can find all of the older webinars in the livestream archives. Let me know if you do not know how to access those...
@markcroock Do you still use Finviz, Yahoo Finance or any other tool for stock scanning or watch list building? Seems the other top students just use Stocks to Trade now. I have Stt and Etrade pro. What other tools will I need to know to build a watch list in your watch list program? Thanks :)
@MichaelGoode are you still using StockFetcher Finfiz etc in the getting started videos? I "think" you said I could skip that video now that we have Stt software. Thanks :)
I still recommend Finviz as the best free non-real-time scanner and Stockfetcher as the best and most customizable cheap non-real-time scanner. Obviously if you are already paying for a more advanced scanner (that also does real-time scanning) like STT then there is no need for them.
Thank you!
