If those separate orders are the same quantity, then it will only be counted as one day trade. Ex: Buy 100, then another 100, sell 200 = 1 round trip/1 day trade

Personally, I am not even sure if I ever want another margin account. I had one... and lost a lot of money (on paper) due to the tech crash... and margin call. If people do get one to short, I do hope you watch your shorts. I read an article recently where some guy had to go to some meeting. ...

He went in knowing he had approx 30K in his account, but shorted a stock. He came out of that meeting with over 100K in debt that he now had due to covering the stock that zoomed while he was in his meeting. ...That was the gist anyway. So... if you're going to short stock, you really need to watch it. Otherwise, you may end up in a tent down by the river.

@RolandWolf How did it change you? Can you elaborate how your trading was before and after? Thanks much!

Not sure how long your drive to work is but I play a portion of a DVD on my way to work then another on the way back, don't really need to see the video most of the time unless its a quick chart glance.Obviously you have to be careful driving.

Well it's hard to compete with Satriani, also take it from me once you get to 600 or 700 you will see how much he is repeating himself, they are still great examples and new tickers all the time but by then you should have a much better understanding of the paterns and how they play out.

This was indeed a beautiful setup @$6.08. It held support from previous fake out and red candle @2:40ish also held support of last 3 minutes. A solid play at $6.08. And your thesis was good...very solid price action leading to eod. I know the pain of those pullbacks tho man! Lol you get used to them and let them run their course before reacting. You could have survived both...but the pain! Lol

My 2nd trade TBIO...very similar to yours. Eod 10 min to go...2400 @1.10/share. The second I bought it plunged $.12. Before I could think of what to do it began up ticking. 8 minutes later it hit $1.52 and I got out; panting, shaking, sweating, heart rate of a 120. Lol had I been relaxed I'd have noted it finished spiking and continued into a/h where I could have made $400.

Paper trading is good my friend but does nothing for emotions...need skin in the game to learn that side of it.

@JohnnyIN Thank you for sharing your $TBIO trade haha I agree that it is very similar to my trade on $CLD. And I agree with your opinion on Paper Trading. It is good but it does nothing but give you a "somewhat" feel for the real thing. You need to actually trade to work on your profits.
