@MarkAus Hey Mark. Its nice to read your blog and you pretty well reflect what I went through in initial phase of trading. Am from India, working in middle east and moving to Australia soon( depending on when NSW offers me state sponsorship ;) ) I too started pretty optimistic with Suretrader. Had some fantastic days but inexpiernce and greed took better off me and ultimately lost $3000 last year. No regrets. It was a great time to learn. I will resume trading once in Aus using your cheap credit system :) . Just wanted to ask you man, how do u manage trading if working in a day 9 to 5 job?
the time diff sucks big time haha. i'm still trying to figure how i can trade, sleep and get up for work and do that on a consistent day to day basis
$15 a trade isn't too bad. You want good charts to play which should net you $200 to $2000 profit. Don't settle for any chart.
A chart like WLKR is under $1. OX isnt good with low cost shares. Plus, they charge you a lot. Move to Suretrader if they're the charts you want. OX is better for $2 stocks and above.

@kroyrunner Hey there Tim. To achieve your avg gain of $1613. In terms of dollars... what is your avg size play (long and short)?
i honestly don't have the slightest idea. sorry!

@kroyrunner Hey Tim, I live in Australia so what is your opinion on what i should do? Trade on the ASX or Nasdaq? For pennystocking of course.
unfortunately i don't know anything about the ASX, so i can't offer an informed opinon. sorry!
much less liquidity and volume in ASX. Nasdaq is the way to go mate if you're looking into pennystocking

From looking into this aspect, I'll need to find a broker, charting software and a data provider for the charting software. Is it possible to combine a broker service and charting (and level 2) software? Combine for ease of learning and save on cost while starting and in the building up funds stage.
@AirplaneJane hope your weekend has been good with the familia. I was wondering if you by chance looked into Ross's (warrior Trading)? I like his approach, seems you guys evolve around the same strategies, and use Trade Ideas (currently looking to get going). What I like most is the fact he looks to not hit homeruns, but look to make a living making avg 500-1000/ day. But I have read a lot of reviews that seem washy, and i know on twitter you follow him. Any insight would be great. Thanks and good luck this week 100k here it comes lol
I have used Ross' trading room for a couple months. I did like it and used it mostly for trade ideas. I agree. I look for roughly $1000K a day as a goal. I cant tell you anything about his teaching classes or his book. But I tried his free chatroom and I made enough in one day to pay for a month so I tried it. Then in a week I made enough for the year so I have access when I want it.
Wow...that's a solid recommendation right there! I was on the fence as well but not anymore :)
thanks for the review Jane. Appreciate it. Initially I was only interested in gurus from here but started to look into Ross's stuff. Great to hear your views on him.

@AirplaneJane can you further elaborate on your last blog post? "Looking for %change and price reversal"
Do you also follow Ross Cameron for your current strategy?
Thanks for posting your strategy Jane. Don't let the haters get you down.
also interested in Ross Cameron's teachings. Similar to those of Tim's. Have heard mixed reviews of him depending on the site you are reading it from.

nice and easy right?! i'm not at that stage yet, still watching over the How to make millions DVD at the moment. Have watched a tonne of Tim's youtube clips too.
by the way, are you in Australia?
@bennos Indeed! Nice and easy. I'm not in a hurry. I just want to get my feet wet, see if I cangrow my confidence and have a solit track record in a small account before I start risking more $, I'm in Europe btw, it allows me to trade after finishing up work! :)

no, have to buy DVD's separate. Being a silver subscriber though, you have a whole library of archived videos that you can watch and I believe webinars and such. I'm currently not a member yet but I know the DVD's do no come with silver subscription
Hey, Thank you so much. I really appreciate your info. That's all I needed to know.
Silver is Timalerts + nearly 6 years of archived video lessons. You have to buy the dvds separate, but I would highly recommend upgrading!
i'm currently watching the How to make millions DVD. Up to DVD #5. Go for it!

Good question, as working full time creates issues when you cannot watch the market 9:30 to 4.
Right there with you.
same situation, cant watch market from open to close. im in australia so for me its midnight when the market opens.
this is the biggest factor holding me back, the time diff and having to get up to go to work, could do for a few days or weeks but i can't see doing this long term
correct. which part of australia do u live in? living in western australia still makes it slightl possible as market opens at 9.30 pm. Atleast can trade morning spikers.
I stopped trading in Nov 15 for many reasons. Its a hard time to trade for sure but I've still been learning. When I was trading\working I would mostly focus on charts and setups. When I thought something was going to happen I'd go home, sleep and trade. Then after about 2 hours go back to bed. Mast I would do this was 3 times a week.
