love these recaps Tim, it really helps me with my own discipline after seeing your mistakes and how you plan to avoid them in the future. keep up the great work

Definitely relate to when you were talking about making more money in a day/week/month etc. I find that when I make 500 to 1000 days I want to take it to the next level and this has been killing my account. Although I might make 300 here 400 there all of a sudden I'll get hit with a big loss because I'm not sizing down my risk level. Thanks for the recap. Great lessons.

And when I mean take it to the next level I mean playing with too much size or not cutting losses fast or even adding.

I use TD Almeritrade and I'm over them. I will be switching to Etrade.

Suretrader is total garbage. I had issues like these and even a few that were worse. I was not able to recover all of the fees but I did get some back before I left. I only trade with etrade now.

Use "all or none" orders. It forces them to deliver your position in one transaction, or not

@dsla10 I haven't logged into iBoss to see all the details yet. But they have ECN fees etc. All my trades with them have had extra fees. And I did hear that before I started, just didn't realize how much it adds up to with a small account.

does anybody have any updates on this? I am a new student and am finalizing my accoutn with virtualbrokers. Sadly my account is only about 1k canadian for now. I want to short sell but I do not have enough capital yet. So far I have been using tradingview.com for my chart analysis, stock fetcher for my scans and stockpro on my phone with potentially interactive brokers for my brokerage
