Stocks to Trade is hands down the best tool I've found for finding the tickers you are looking for. They've got built in and preset scanners. You can also customize and fine tune the scan to get results specifically to what you're after.

I bought at 1000 shares @ 1.60 earlier, lets see what happens tomorrow...

SmarTrader101 Jul 05, 17 5:16 PM

@ambitious_ well doing well right now, but carefull, i suggest selling tomorrow morning with whatever gain you have as this has run for 2 days already, 3rd day tends to be red especially since it couldnt hold it spike.

SmarTrader101 Jul 05, 17 5:32 PM

@Nathan_casey yea will have a panic like $MSDI in the morning, but if you see buyer coming in more than sellers, than holding is wise, i did that for $MSDI and got out with more than i would have made if i paniced

@Skiwi I hear ya. It's a learning process. I'm still a few months in so I like to know if a stock is being promoted. Whether or not it works or is influence, well, the price action tells us that, right? There are millions of trades. Many of whom are very new to this game and have no idea a stock is being promoted. They can definitely influence the market.

Skiwi Jul 04, 17 5:36 PM

@Nathan_casey Everybody is different, for me I just can't relate to the OTC's right now. @mydharma Stock promoters are not useful because nobody listens to their picks anymore, you can use service for good tracking, really it's not something you should waste your time, energy and money on, IMO.

Nathan_casey Jul 04, 17 6:05 PM

@Skiwi I'm just saying every once in a while there are those smash hit OTC plays still. Not like it's completely dried out. And when those plays arise a lot of the time they seem more straight forward than the Nasdaqs when they break out

Only made 285 on a 700 dollar position... lol

VRedd Jun 26, 17 9:01 PM

Bruh. You just made 40%. The statement should be "Made $285 using only $700"

Emertrader Jun 26, 17 9:15 PM

Good job man , I'm going thru the same process right now ... it took me a while to figure out .

Noble1222 Jun 27, 17 7:37 AM

VRedd - thx for clarifying - I'm going to try to screen shot the line in schwab and post it here.

I have a robinhood account and the only geniune downside i see to it is that you cannot short on Robinhood. Also, you may not have access to every stock being traded (as far as i can tell you can't trade OTC stocks and some foreign market stocks). outside of that, it's incredibly streamlined and simple. you might get hurt by 1% or two when you buy or sell, as it puts your sale in at whatever the stock price is that second. I have the exact same issue with my etrade account with the waiting 3 day

Nathan_casey Jun 26, 17 8:44 PM

@jtread0655 Yeah the cash and sweep vehicle is what's literally killing my trading right now. So hard to focus and make good trades when I know if this trade doesn't work out I have to wait a week to trade again.

jtread0655 Jun 26, 17 9:10 PM

@Nathan_casey i've only had E-Trade for like two weeks so it's killing me as well. and it's why i'll make maybe $20 on my DCTH trade tomorrow instead of $200. but hey, I'm here to learn, so I'll be adjusting my strategy to fit the tools I have. Even if it means only trading 2x on E-Trade a week.

I have used it off and on, only one time there seemed to be an issue connecting but no real issues. I think it takes $100 dollars to open. as other have said you can not short sell. If you have the capital i would go with a broker buy enough shares to off set the commissions.
