Congrats! Learning what not to do is just as important, if not more important on your path to success...fix your attitude and you'll do even better

My attitude is amazing Tim, I don't know why you keep having a problem with it, Maybe it's a New York thing and you don't understand it. Your dad and I get along and I have the utmost respect for him. I am looking forward to meeting him one day. Maybe because you and I are generations apart we just clash. I don't know but thank you for the compliment anyway.

@TimeFliesBuy I have a personal spreadsheet where I detail why I make all my trades, I just didn't feel like copying and pasting all my notes

don't try to compare yourself to million dollar traders. just remember the mediam salry in the US is under $50K per year. save ip enough money and shoot for $10k per month to get started. you have a great life that way and if you get to $200k, $500 k all the better. good luck.

just focus on the patterns, don't think about the money or it will effect your trading. I took a 65k hit last november and wiped my whole account out in two days lol

agree, actually no longer thinking about the money, just patterns like before, feel like my losses were my evil twin trading, i plan to post everything here when i do. i know i'm better but not there yet. i have a day job again so, swing trading mostly and not taking big risks. i'll be back.

it's pretty clear you put a lot of detailed research and work into this. and a bunch of these you can't short due to no locates. the rusell 2,000 is at an all time high, the Dow and SP are at the high end of their range - why not try some longs?

@Noble1222 I just did not find an edge in going long so far, I am working on it in my spreadsheets, currently looking at ABCD´s on a 5min timeframe and red/green moves on low floaters but I just cannot find something worth trading

@Noble1222 And I do buy OTCBB´s with a strong first Green Day sometimes but the OTC market is pretty dead right now so I will just have to wait it out

Steve, like you I am a Brit, work and like to have a drink or two. Actually your podcasts sometimes sounds like the old fella at my local pub lol. At work, you need to be disciplined, when you go for a piss up, you let go, I find when I trade, when I see it as work I am usually more disciplined, when I get excited to get back into the market I seem to have less discipline and hence worst results. Heads up matey, you will get it, actually you have already get it but just have a few undisciplined

We support you Jevon!! I'm going to call you delusional just because it appears to motivate you. That CRACKED me up! Good to know you are learning from your mistakes. YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!! Put May behind you and kill it in June.

$vstm isn’t a volatile ticker and they did a shelf offering today. It is a better long term hold. You may also consider not shorting if you’re new and have a smaller account. Tim Sykes has a lot of specific videos on growing accounts and recommends dip buys, going long on earnings winners etc. good luck.
