@ngucapital if you have an account under 25k, the rules does not allow you to buy and sell the same security in the same day. overnight is ok. to day trade and take advantage of some of the positions we need to make split decisions and get in and out of trades without loosing capital. Once you cross 25k the PDT is no longer a concern

If you don't fun the account, it lasts 60 days. You need to understand that level 2 is not free and this is just a neat trick you can do to have a good level 2 for free.

etrade pro is what you should bee looking for. They also have level 2

Lost $-185 today because of that damn trades/round trips rule. grrrr can't wait till my account reaches 25k so i'm done with this nonsense! congrats to all who gained!

Long 1k HOTR. entered at $2.16, then bought some again on the dip at $2.09. When i tried selling the lot @ $2.19 to get out, my broker warned me of the day trade pattern infraction. I use TD Ameritrade. I already have 2 infractions and they suspend your account over 4. So, i ate the loss and kept the position the whole day. Sucks

@Tan_Ye_Jia I don't mean to butt in, but it's unwise of you to put money into the market if you do not understand what you are doing. A trading education is one thing, gambling is another. If you are paying the $30 commission plus the spread and management/performance fee I would say that is high if the pair being traded is EUR/USD. Do the math, it will cost you at least .3% of your account value per trade and that is costly. I would absolutely get your money back and be more patient. don't get

impulsed into things you don't understand. If you are going to keep your money in it, ask for a track record of trades and performance statistics such as max peak to trough drawdown. Your chances of growing your money exponentially and safely is much more likely with Tim's method.
