Yea, I don't know about all the emotional writing you did about why it'll be a good trade, but from a Sykes chart pattern: "$ATHX is worth a watch because it's a clean multi-year breakout. Easy risk down to $2.65 with potential resistance around $2.90, but then it has room to go since long term resistance dates back to 2015, and most of those people have probably sold when the stock dropped under $2 for a while"

Well, it looks like I may have been a day early on my idea here. ATHX announced an extension to figure out a deal with Healios until the 6th of June. There was a small dip buying opportunity this morning at the open, but that was about it for today. Not the big move I was expecting. Maybe tomorrow will show something different.

Also, apparently what I wrote made at least two people think I either "love" this stock or did a lot of "emotional" writing. Yeah, I think I was excited at an opportunity, but what did I say to imply I was gushing with emotion for this stock exactly? And @wannabestocktrader, thank you for posting some more "technical" aspects of what makes this a good trade. I appreciate having other peoples legitimate perspectives posted here.

Thanks, man! That makes me feel really good. After my huge losses, I got behind on posting trades so I'm catching up.

I was too depressed and honestly embarrassed to post any for awhile. Things seem to be moving in a better direction now and I learned a lot through all the overtrading.

It makes me glad to know you actually looked at every single one. I hope it helps! I'm gonna stick with it!

@nerenberg really appreciate your feedback. I think it has really helped me from traveling in the wrong direction. Over the summer I prepared myself to try to find a great strategy that works for me and I ended up reading like 10-15 stock market books. I've heard tons of people say HTTM is one of the best DVDs, so I think I'll just get that soon.

You are very welcome! HTMM is a great summary of lots of information contained over multiple DVDs so it is well worth it. I wish you all the best!

I wouldn't say that this is the only way to dip buy well but i would say it is a GREAT idea to just dip buy using these rules, staying disciplined and then once you are comfortable dip buying this way you can expand outwards and you will be able to use what you establish for other dip buying strats

I would only dip buy from a PROVEN support level. Either previously established, or a double bottom as proof. After that, yes, look for volume and price increase, and enter as close to support/risk as possible.
