Jack Kellogg (Jackaroo) - "I like to be super early on my trades, so before the stock even breaks out - like 20-30% from the breakout - or if it's a first green day just going green for the first time, I like to get involved with a very small position."

Great stuff! And you're right YRIV is a total fraud of a company. That long 9 month annihilation on the daily chart was due to SEC investigation, during which insiders dumped all of their shares.

Copied this down when Roland Wolf used to appear in chat more often: Roland's criteria for an overnight hold - 1) 1st green day 2) Strong close 3) History of multi-day runs 4) Good catalyst 5) No major overhead resistance levels 6) No warrants/ATM that could potentially be dumped

Yup, yup, yup! All solid catalysts! Uggghh, my only thing is I don’t trust the market right now to hold overnight!!! Seems extra risky, while overnights with all those catalysts would normally be the perfect play. Perhaps on OTCs only, so that there’s no afterhour or premarket risk.

I'm not a fan of holding overnight, tbh. I know it works for people, but it never seems to work when I try it.

Lots of good nuggs of wisdom here. I'm almost 2 months into the challenge now and glad to come across a post like this. It's refreshing to see some long bias, everywhere I turn it seems that people want to drop the hammer on stocks-ha! I can see where you are coming from with understanding the mindset of a short seller to help with long setups--Spikeability and Short Stocking have given me some perspective on this, as well as SEC filings and the book the art of short selling by kathryn staley se
