I have completely wrecked my account again this week after finally starting to see positive growth. Got too cocky and broke every rule, EVERY RULE! Taking some time off, going to do some side work and maybe study but probably won't even open the STT program to check in on the market. Have to completely reset and re-evaluate myself and mindset. Not going to be in any kind of a hurry to get back though. Stay safe everybody

Hang in there, bud, I know you have done A LOT of studying as I see your comments on many video lessons. We both started on Profit.ly in May, so I want both of us to be successful in the future. We are on a life long journey and I 100% believe that if we trust the process and stick to the rules we will both get there!

I haven't made nearly as many trades as you have over these first 4 months, only 14 as 6 trades were before PS Silver, so you have much more market experience than I do. Just stay in the game, bud, Grittani wasn't consistent for 9 months. We can't expect quicker results than that. Good luck on your journey, man, I hope you stick with the education and get where you want to be!

@rtanderson23 I'm down but not out, I have however shifted my studying from video lessons to a trading psychology book so I can break my bad habits. So far the book is great, it's The Daily Trading Coach by Brett Steenbarger. I'm still watching the market some and will trade small until I get my mind and account right. Thanks for the boost this morning, and good luck to you as well on your journey!

That's great, man, I really hope that works for you. I will look that book up as well. Thank you for the recommendation!

I have 2 accounts on Etrade, 1 is flagged PDT at the moment but the other I left as a cash account and don't have to worry about the PDT rule. Only downside is you have to wait for money to settle from your trades before you can use it but that has helped me make a few better choices and taught me some patience as of late.

When I first opened my Etrade account years ago it was setup as a cash account. I didn't even know the difference back then. I opened a margin account and transferred the majority of my money to it, but left around 25% of my money in the cash account for the same purpose. I just haven't got there yet. I still have a lot of studying to do before I try to get serious about trading. I appreciate your help

This was a great read, I think I'll actually do the same myself. Since I started the challenge, I have no idea what is going on, one second there is this play, then the other second another etc.. I think I'll focus on dip buys for now until I get the grasp of those. Goodluck on your journey!

@Nameless132 Thank you, I'm glad you found some value in it. The market is just too crazy right now for anyone that's new. I think if we narrow down the plays that we are going to focus on it will benefit us in the end. I assume all the traders that are making ridiculous profits right now had to do the same when they first started as well. I'll focus on dip buys and test that out to see if it works for me, if not I will move on to a different strategy until I find one that works. Good luck to yo
