@kroyrunner Your % edge a year and a half ago was 33%, it's now 66%. So you've been trading with about a 140% edge for the past 1 1/2 years! Your winning % has actually gone down to around 65% now so your risk/reward has to have gone from about 1:1 to nearly 3:1! Are you just using a tighter risk now, what'd you change? It's obv. working!

In couple of short months Tim will cross the big one...$10 M and that's quite an incredible achievement. I have huge respect for someone who continues trading instead of trying to pull money out of the desperate newbies, like so many today. However, after trading nearly 3 years, I must say that Tim's only video "Trading Tickers", is really what taught me how to trade. So, it really doesn't take a lot of teaching, just a lot of practice and spread sheets.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMeLN8Qgpd0 Just one of the many videos from my vid library about mkt cap vs. float. I've done this way too long not to know the difference.

NNDM 2 days ago was such a perfect example of a perfect marketing trick. The pr was brilliant making an untrained eye believe that the company is working on defense field and just signed a huge contract. In reality, the news simply said that the company sold their SECOND 3D printer to a U.S. based defense company. No promises for ANY further business. No surprise the hype was over in less than a day. So important to understand what you are reading...

I saw your question in the chat and just saw that you started yesterday. Good luck with your journey! The best way to start is to study carefully everything on the emails that you receive from the Challenge. One of the first "Must Watch" videos is Tim's Trader Check list. Here is the link: https://profit.ly/content/premium/16791?aff=12

@RolandWolf Saw you interview on here recently and really happy for you and your family. I need to learn more, a lot more, before feeling comfortable enough to confidently trade. I have been watching the 14 videos Tim offers for FREE to all. Trading for the 1st 2 hours a day is tough right now for me. I heard loud and clear your hours were flexible at 1st in the family biz. How crazy would it be to do NOTHING but learn and educate myself the next 6 to 8 months, sell my house, take the proceeds and rent a place and trade with the remainder? Maybe I paper trade a few months too before doing this. I have a son and want to plan smart and not fast. I am willing to take the time to get there. Any key tips, videos, advice or words of wisdom to offer? Keep at man. I am impressed and happy for you.

I think selling your house in a very bad idea. Check Tim Grittani story.

Agree 100% and thanks for the gut check. I really count myself as fiscally conservative and will take the advice wholeheartedly.

@joecrowley7777 I've been trading for two years. Trading in Tim Sykes group and two other ones. One of them is a private group of just a handful of us. Many of us have reached 6 figures in trading now. Most started with about $10k trading account. It's enough to get going. The most important part is studying and practicing. People usually need 2-3 years to become profitable. Lot's of studying, is the name of the game!

@huperauxano the R-value is just the ratio of my average win to my average loss. I’m not ready to talk about the Kelly percent yet, I don’t want to lead anyone down the wrong path there.
