Only My opinion but both have definitely bottomed but they have no volume. Need Volume.

The best answer is no answer at all. Best to do with these crap stocks is to wait and watch. If the stock moves and has clear indicators of continued momentum then enter. Major trend of these two stock if you look at the year is down.

Never buy a stock just because it's down a lot, remember any one of the stocks can go to 0 at any time, I highly recommend not buying stocks unless there is a clear support level it is near and there is no toxic news

@ilikebbstock Can I ask 4 questions, 1- What do you mean by diluting ? 2- What indicators do you use overall? 3- What do you ask the scanner to search for to find these longs that have been soooo flat for so long. I'm assuming volume, but how much and anything else? 4- Why don't you short? Great trading !!

1) Diluting is when a company issues shares thereby diluting the stock since it will then have more shares outstanding.

2) dobtvuse any indicators other than chart resistant and support

3) use equityfeed streaming filters one is high relative volume to the average

4) I generally trade penny stocks which are not easily shorted by traditional brokers

@dux Please continue to post your trades. We learn from them and if goes past a week its harder to see the details of the trade in the candles.

I've pretending that my livelyhood depended on it. Afterwards I did notice myself forcing plays which is so so destructive to my account. Long-term goal is to do the same just need a larger account then will be all set.

This is awesome and so encouraging. Because as you can see I share every trade. It helps keep me focused and humble.

@kroyrunner - Tim To verify on Speedtrader- I have Speedtrader and CAN VERIFY. I spent two week fighting with them but here is the issue. The NEW COR Clearing backend is not the same as the original. I asked them to convert me back to the original COR Clearing. There is absolutely no difference and you can then verify. Probably a glitch in the coding of the new system. See if they will switch you to the original version. Hope this helps. Jules

hey Tim, thanks a lot for sharing. I've been staring at your charts forever. will you do a commentary on your recent trading experience as well? I noticed that you tweeted about learning fundamentals. are you trying to incorporate some fundamentals into finding which stocks to trade now?

@sintype i still trade pretty much the same stocks/setups, i just go into them now with a little bit better of an understanding of what's going on behind the scenes and why. if i ever get around to a year-end recap i may touch on this a bit, although i'd like more experience first

@Jules Hi Jules, I've just signed up to Trade Ideas to see which scans could help. Are you able to share which scans you focus on (from the channels or have you customised your own)? Thank you! Also, do you use a separate platform for charting/L2 etc? for example StocksToTrade or EquityFeed?

@kopboy Finding your niche - you can watch a series of Ross Cameron Warrior Traders on Youtube for free. He has great videos on Gapper, momentum trades, and reversals. Perhaps one of those will work for you

@kopboy I use Trade Ideas in the morning for gappers, then around the reversal time 10 am. I start to look at FINVIZ highest % gainers to see if there are any reversals I wish to trade. It also has amazing scanning abilities in that Scanner section. YOu can use filters and then sort like for RSI and such

With trade ideas, I do use many pre programed as they are great. Why fix whats not broken. When you do your free one hour session. They will provide you with more window. Then you can play yourseld. I did find that TI does not have great training for this at present so your kinda on your own

That's great, thank you Jules. I had the 1-1 session on Friday with Jamie who helped me a lot and discussed a 'range breakout' strategy that is his favourite. I'll take everything you said on board. I'll wach the Ross Cameron videos today -hopefully I'll find my niche very soon after some experimenting.

@AirplaneJane Hi Jane, I know I've come across your blog what indicators you use but I can't find it. I know you use RSI and I'm sure there was another one? If you could please point me in the right direction I'd be most grateful! Thank you!

I may be able to help a bit...Watch my few videos. They are short and very specific for when to enter and when to get out. You really need to look at stocks a bit higher in price also because I find they tend to be a bit more predicatable. Then choose a type of trade. Gap-Up, Gap-down, Momentum, Reversals. Then Go to YOUTUBE and watch Ross Cameron Warrior trader/gappers or momentium or reversal..etc. He has a different style of teaching that helped me. It is ok to learn from others as well

Jules
Jules Oct 19, 16 6:08 PM

Contunued - as wise. Then paper trade a style that appeals to you and only use your real money after you have become consistant on paper. Tim is right....Success takes much time and patients. Never enter a trade to early...no need to. Relax an make clear decisions. Hope this helps.
