Nice! thanks for the video!

LitchiFeb 03, 16 2:49 PM

Hi Tim, Thanks for the video. I am growing my small account, trade-by-trade… I like one of your best rolls: "Think of yourself as a retired trader who only comes back to trade when a setup is so good you’d feel guilty missing it…." Few month ago I add in my account 1,100$ Today i pass 13,000$

NetNinjaFeb 03, 16 3:22 PM

That is what they call a kill zone. The only possible way you live through that is to run into the ambush. You are going to probably die anyway but give them hell.

Mr_EnLichtenFeb 03, 16 3:47 PM

Hey look at that! You found the picture you needed of the red coats and tree-dwelling snipers. Well done!

BearzRupFeb 03, 16 4:03 PM

Sniper Style!!!

smillie327Feb 03, 16 4:23 PM

LOVED the Sniper Theme using the Revolutionary War...Americans fighting the British Redcoats for freedom from tyranny reminds me of the war on Level II...thanks for lessons on AQXP & AVXL...a reminder that "junk rises farther than we think just like politics 2day : )

ColinKing14Feb 03, 16 4:27 PM

haha you finally found a photo! long over due. Love the analogy though. Just starting out and watching your videos from the beginning but also watching the ones you post daily. Thanks for the help and keep it up. love these video lessons.

EbogeyFeb 03, 16 4:29 PM

Very inspirational video lesson, GETS me PUMPED!!

VexlaFeb 03, 16 5:58 PM

Great lesson, Sykes. Thx for mentioning me, I'm from Croatia/Europe so that's why I managed to sell AVXL before you premarket. It was afternoon here :-).

RichieMFeb 03, 16 6:35 PM

Thanks TIM love all these lessons this one especially helped me realize I can go at my own pace and find my own way, I think I was getting too jumpy and anxious to make money for so long and didn't really take the time to learn and was only trying to follow alerts without realizing it. Gottaa be more patient and be prepared for when the right opportunities arise!

msim6Feb 03, 16 6:40 PM

AWESOME video!!

KShimFeb 03, 16 7:30 PM

Empire Total War was a trading metaphor all along. This puts a new perspective on video games.

PedroMadFeb 03, 16 7:49 PM

Nice analysis on AVXL and the others spikers. Thanks Tim

HaydenHFeb 03, 16 7:58 PM

I'm having a hard time with support and resistance levels. Like you said it's not an exact science so it makes it really hard to pick correct entries for me. I think one the reasons for this is because I am not catching big moves but more trying to capture small bounces of resistance or support. Gotta start focusing on what's actually going to grow my portfolio.

GreTaFeb 03, 16 10:29 PM

@HaydenH you are not alone, I myself am still trying to read chart patterns and still trying to figure out Support and Resistance with all this new plays.

likens2tradeFeb 03, 16 10:37 PM

I don't think I have heard you mention setting a limit order @ the premarket high! Great note. If you set your limit price pre-market open. I would think there is an Ext. Hours/ Good all day option? #greatvideo @profity

iamliquidFeb 04, 16 2:51 AM

I like the last few minutes where you say it gets easier after 3, 6, 9 months. I feel I've learned volumes more than I did when I started :) Looking forward to see what my thought process is like after one year

Tim, Thank you for another great lesson. your continued analogy of trade like a sniper is so monumental as I can definitely relate. in addition your continued hard work and dedication to all of us does not go unnoticed. I value your mentorship !!

Thanx Tim!

TimeFliesBuyJul 24, 17 4:14 AM

I love some Art of War-like references!!! Practice your skills using the best weapons available, find a favorable battleplan, Draw in the enemy, lock on target, and FIRE!!! then hide reload and FIRE AGAIN and repeat until your position is recognized or there is no enemy left! Preferably the latter. #GrowAPairorDIE lol Thank You Timothy K. Sykes!

suesgaggeroOct 01, 17 2:57 PM

trade like a sniper. Thanks Tim

RockRobsterNov 01, 17 1:03 AM

Trade like a bow hunter. When you hunt with a bow you need to wait for the best shot. Some times you might be able to get a second shot, but usally you need to hit your target on the FIRST shot or your target will move away before you can shoot again.

Conner_TaMaderNov 11, 17 7:22 PM

Wait for the best setups like the American snipers waiting for the enemy. Use your small accounts with smart tactics to profit.
